1992 Wayne Rainey Race Used World Championship Winning Marlboro Yamaha 500cc Helmet
Very rare race used original Shoei helmet from Californian racing legend, Wayne Rainey.
This helmet has been race used during his third and final 500cc World Championship. It has also been photo matched to the Malaysia Grand Prix where he finished 2nd. Great opportunity to add a helmet from the 3 x 500cc champion from a fantastic era in motorcycle racing with Rainey battling his arch rival, Kevin Schwantz for the Championship. In 1993 Rainey suffered a career ending injury when he was paralyzed from a crash at the Italian GP whilst leading the championship.
Today he heads up Moto America, the Superbike Championship that races in the United States as is often seen around the paddock.
