1995 Jeff Gordon North Carolina Goodwrench 500 Winning Trophy

NASCAR Cup Series Champion Gordon crossed the finish line just one second in front of Bobby Labonte to take the victory at the North Carolina Goodwrench 500 in 1995 after 492 demanding laps on the 1.017-mile speedway. This was Gordon’s first of seven wins during the season. These wins, as well as many other podium finishes, helped him capture the 1995 Winston Cup Championship, his first of four.
